8th Grade Visits

This February and March, Auburn High School was thrilled to welcome 8th graders from surrounding Lake and Geauga County school districts to our campus. During their visits, students explored classrooms, labs, and athletic facilities, met our passionate teachers and staff, and experienced firsthand what makes Auburn a place where students can grow, thrive, and discover their passions. They had the opportunity to see our wide range of programs in action—from auto technology, criminal justice, EMS, nursing, dental, cosmetology, construction, landscape, media and robotics, and career and technical pathways in business, technology, and health sciences. Students also got a glimpse of our many clubs and leadership opportunities, and learned how Auburn prepares students for both college and real-world success. These visits gave 8th graders a chance to imagine themselves as future Auburn students, see the exciting possibilities ahead, and begin thinking about the high school experience that awaits them. We were delighted to share our campus and programs, and we look forward to welcoming many of these students as juniors in the years to come.
